HR Generalist at the Military Academy Halmstad

As a member of the HR function at the Military Academy Halmstad (MHS H) will be on parental leave, there is now an opportunity to become part of our HR team, where you will have the chance to develop while contributing to building a stronger defense.

The Staff

The HR section belongs to the staff unit, which also consists of the sections for security, execution, planning, logistics, finance, communication, and management support. As an HR generalist, you will be supervised by the HR manager and will closely collaborate with another HR generalist.

Main Responsibilities

As an HR generalist, you will work with several areas within HR, primarily operationally but also to some extent at a strategic level. You will provide consultative support to managers on issues related to personnel management, recruitment, and labor law. You will work on the development and implementation of various HR processes. This position also includes working within occupational health, gender equality, organizational work, and personnel planning. This means, among other things, organizing, coordinating, and developing the systematic work environment efforts, participating in organizational change processes, and following up on the unit's personnel supply. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions primarily for our managers, in both large and small groups. A significant part of the work will also consist of personnel administration.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree in preferably HR or other education that the employer deems equivalent
• Current and relevant experience in HR or personnel issues
• Labor law knowledge in the area
• Good administrative skills
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing

Personal Qualities

Since you will be responsible for various areas, you need to have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Additionally, you should be self-driven and able to take your own initiatives for change and development. You are confident in working with HR and dare to challenge established practices with new perspectives. Furthermore, you should be communicative and receptive as you will meet people with different experiences and perspectives in your work.

We see that you have a strong commitment and interest in personnel issues. You have a flexible approach and can switch between individual and joint tasks, which requires very good collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

DESIRABLE

• Experience working in the Armed Forces or another authority
• Knowledge of the Armed Forces' operational leadership
• Experience working in the Armed Forces' support system PRIO (SAP)
• Experience working with occupational health and gender equality issues
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
